Week of December 14 - 18

This week we will keep playing with our photos in Photoshop. We will learn how to use the Liquify feature and the Filter Gallery.
We will have an optional assignment of making a bookmark to take home with all your silly faces!

Castle Projects

In class we worked on making a Castle Scene in Photoshop. This is a combination of both 3rd and 4th hour. They did a great job!

Week of December 7 - 11

This week we will continue our Photoshop unit.
On Monday, we will finish the Castle project as a class.
On Tuesday and wednesday, we will work on the House project.
Thursday and Friday we will learn how to manipulate the photos we took last week.

Week of November 30 - December 4

This week we will start the Photshop Unit. We will learn the following vocabulary words:

• Tools
• Options
• Brushes
• Color Picker
• Foreground Color
• Background Color

We will start and complete the Yard project. We will learn to:

• Change Tools
• Change Options
• Zoom in and out
• Change Foreground and Background Colors

We will also start the House project. We will learn to:

• Use the marque tools
• Use the fill feature
• Use the Paintbucket

Week of November 23 and 24

This week we will continue to work in Microsoft Word.

Monday we will finish our "My Favorite Birthday" Project.
Tuesday we will do a Turkey Day Project.

Week of November 16 - 20

This week we will learn about Microsoft Word.
we will go over the following:

• the Environment
• Opening a document
• Saving a document
• Alignment
• Character count
• Page set up
• Spelling
• Adding clip art as a background

we will work on the Tweetin' Project where we write a book report in 140 characters or less just like a "Tweet" from Twitter. This is due Wednesday.
On Thursday and Friday we will work on the My favorite Birthday Project where we will write about our favorite birthday. This will be due Monday Nov. 23rd.

Week of November 9 - 13

This week we will work in PowerPoint. We will start a new project all About Me. You will create a slide show of at least 15 slides about you to share with the class. You can tell us anything you want to about yourself in these slides. I will give you more detailed information in class. We will share them next week.

Week of November 2 - 6

This week we will learn the following in PowerPoint:

• Transistions
• Animations
• Sounds

On Thursday we will watch our presentations!
